Where FPV Changes the Brief

FPV produces footage that stabilised aerial simply cannot. These are the use cases where it makes a genuine difference.

01

Architectural flythroughs

A single continuous FPV shot through or around a building, revealing space and scale in a way no stabilised aerial can replicate.

02

Product and vehicle reveals

A fast arc or pull-back from a subject creates energy and scale that cuts beautifully against ground-level cinematography.

03

Action and sport

Following a subject at speed, low to the ground, through an environment. FPV footage in this context is genuinely differentiated content.

04

Industrial and venue tours

Flying through warehouses, factories, venues or large outdoor spaces in one fluid, uncut shot.

FPV Work

Recent commercial FPV footage across architectural, action, and venue briefs.

FPV Questions

Common questions about FPV drone filming for commercial briefs.

What's the difference between your two FPV rigs?

The off-the-shelf rig is more predictable and easier to adapt on the day. The custom rig is built for higher performance — top speed, tighter turns, specific camera mounts. I advise on which is right for the brief.

Is FPV safe for commercial shoots?

Yes, with proper planning. FPV requires a spotter and a risk assessment. I bring both systems fully pre-checked and handle all safety planning as part of pre-production.

Can FPV be used indoors?

Yes. Indoor FPV is one of the most effective uses — flying through a venue, factory or retail space in one continuous shot. Requires a pre-flight assessment of the space.

Is FPV included in the day rate?

Yes. Both FPV systems are included in the £995/day rate alongside the Mavic 4 Pro and sub-250g drone. No additional hire costs.
