Product Videographer
Controlled lighting, cinema glass, macro capability. Product video for brand campaigns, e-commerce, social, and launch content. Shoots from a single day — no studio required.
Kit & Capability
The kit that makes product video look expensive is controlled light and sharp glass. Both are standard on every shoot.
Approach
Every product is different. The setup, light, and lens choice is built around what the product actually looks like and what you need it to do.
Every product is different. Glass needs specular control. Fabric needs raking light to show texture. Liquid needs backlight. The lighting setup is built for what the product is.
The Sony A7 IV runs alongside the URSA 12K, giving stills selects from the same lighting setup. One shoot day, both formats, consistent visual language.
Product shoots work in a controlled setup, on-location with brand context, or both in the same day. I advise on what works for the product and brief.
12K RAW gives a post team maximum latitude for colour grading to brand guidelines. Compressed footage puts a ceiling on what's achievable.
Portfolio
Product video across categories — beauty, lifestyle, FMCG, and technical product for brand and e-commerce.
FAQ
Common questions about product video production and how a shoot day works.
Not necessarily. I bring the full lighting package, which creates a controlled environment in most interior spaces. Studio hire can be arranged for briefs requiring a cyc wall or specific infinity setup.
Depends on the complexity of each setup. A single product with multiple angles and movement takes most of a day. A range of similar products on a shared setup can yield high volume. Brief first, then plan.
Primary camera is the Blackmagic URSA 12K shooting RAW. Deliverable format depends on the brief — typically ProRes or compressed for client delivery. Multiple aspect ratios covered in one shoot.
Yes. The same footage cut differently works for hero web, paid social, and organic. Planning the edit structure before the shoot means you come away with genuinely versatile content.
