Common questions

Do you travel to Bristol from Cheltenham?

Yes. Bristol is a regular working location — 45 minutes by road. I arrive fully prepped with kit packed for the brief, so travel has no impact on the shoot day.

What's the day rate and what does it include?

£995/day covers the shoot day, operator, and all kit — cameras, lighting, drone, audio. Post-production is quoted separately based on the deliverables required.

Can you shoot drone footage in central Bristol?

Bristol's airspace requires planning. The sub-250g drone can operate in many urban areas with fewer restrictions. The Mavic 4 Pro needs authorisation near the city centre. I handle all of this in pre-production.

Do you work under a director or take the creative lead?

Both. For agency and directed shoots I operate as camera operator, executing the creative brief. For direct brand commissions I can take the full creative lead from brief to rushes.
